Featured Poem: Onward and Back – Returning from Beyond

Some say they crossed the threshold. Touched the light.
Returned in awe of realms beyond life’s sight.

A tunnel led them forward, set them free,
where time dissolved. They sensed eternity.

A Presence, vast and knowing, rich with peace,
let judgment fall away. Life’s pretense ceased.

Compassion reigned. No verdict from above,
but mirror held to moments spent with love.

Those longed-for reconnections weren’t far-fetched,
for ones they’d lost came forth with arms outstretched.

A life review unfolded crystal clear,
with self-examined impacts, none to fear.

What matters, they realized, was kindness shown,
slight comments to relationships long grown.

Some woke frustrated. Concepts unexplained.
Their glimpse of truth lacked words. Could not be named.

Mere brain synaptic failures in retreat?
Or views unveiled to realms where spirits meet?

Consider skeptic claims and faithful creeds,
but add first-hand assurances agreed.

Our lifelong innocence must stand implied.
Beyond all words, pure reverences abide.

Claimed chemical or cosmic, this holds true:
Returning pilgrims know love sees us through.
