“Breaking Point” by Rodika Tollefson (member-at-large)
Mixed media (acrylic, paper) on canvas, 20 x 16
Artist’s Statement
“Breaking Point” explores the tension between resistance and release, the chaos that comes before the quiet. In surrendering control, we may find that change unfolds on its own, often through a messy process, before we can become whole.
Bold and strong in color and form, but a touch of feathery brightness and movement. Very nice!
Your artwork and words are bold, deep, and meaningful. It’s really, really good.
Thank you, Grace! Your words mean a lot.
Powerful!
Thank you, Winnie!
Wow. This is active and has such movement. I can see the chaos, but there is a depth of feeling in this that makes the whole so much more than the parts. I love this.
Thank you so much, Annette. Delighted that this piece resonated with you.
You are more multi-talented than we knew. Bravo.
