About the Artist
Rita Deutsch is an illustrator born and raised in New York City. She attended the High School of Art & Design and graduated Brooklyn College with a bachelor’s in art and secondary education. In addition to NLAPW, she is currently a member of the Weston Art Guild. She has exhibited locally in Broward County and has taught workshops for the Broward Art Guild, as well as freelanced in the home furnishing and lace and embroidery industry. Deutsch is a psychotherapist living and working in South Florida.
