Save the Dates for Upcoming Virtual Meetings
NLAPW’s monthly virtual meetings, hosted on Zoom, are an opportunity for Pen Women from across the country to meet and learn about each other, network, and listen to guest presenters.
The meetings alternate between Wednesdays and Thursdays, and times alternate between noon and 8 p.m. to accommodate members on both coasts. All members are invited to participate.
Upcoming dates (all listed times are Eastern) and presenters include:
• Wednesday, May 6, noon: Evelyn Wofford, NLAPW executive director and treasurer
• Wednesday, June 3, noon: Paulette Brooks, Indiana Branch letters member, “Following the Trail of an Extraordinary Woman: A Journey of Research to Novel”
• Thursday, July 9, noon: Annette Gagliardi, Minnesota Poet Laureate
• Thursday, August 13, noon: Nancy Jo Hinsen, recording artist and winner of the NLAPW’s music Shirley Holden Heiberg Award for Mature Women 2025
• Wednesday, September 2, noon: Darby Hobbs, “What American Women Are Doing for the Arts”
• Wednesday, November 4, noon: Des Moines Branch, “Online Pen Women’s Market”
Future dates also include October 7 and December 2, with times and presenters to be announced later. Branch presidents should forward the Zoom links to their members.
