Interesting format and thoughtful.
What an un-expected pleasure this poem is, especially the lovely, soothing and gentle ending with the image of the Moon. Personifying Tradition by having it speak to something that has always been there, something that illuminates darkness, is such a moving statement of the resolution of all the un-doings in the previous lines. Great poem, Kathryn. I’m so glad to see it here, expressing so much in a relatively few words.
