As the National League of American Pen Women heads toward its 120th anniversary next year, The Pen Woman magazine celebrates the remarkable achievements of our members.

Enjoy these excerpts from the Fall 2016 edition. “The League’s Legends and Legacies” features Polly Dages, a legendary artist and member since 1973. At age 92, she is still passionate about being a Pen Woman!

Our featured musician is Nancy Bloomer Deussen, who overcame many challenges in life through sheer determination — to become an award-winning, distinguished musician who has performed all over the world.

And in “Tapestry for Peace Goes Global,” learn how a group of women turned a dream about world peace into a creative project that is making an impact on future generations of leaders.

We hope these stories inspire you to pursue your own creative dreams — and to never give up.
