Joni B. Cole is the creator of the acclaimed This Day book series, including This Day in the Life: Diaries from Women across America and the newly released Water Cooler Diaries: Women across America Share Their Day at Work. Each book invited hundreds of women from all walks of life to chronicle the joys, triumphs, frustrations, and hilarities that happen throughout a single day. Joni is also the author of the inspiring (and often hilarious) book, Toxic Feedback: Helping Writers Survive and Thrive. The Erma Bombeck Writers Workshop called Toxic Feedback, "required reading for all writers." American Book Review concurred, "I can't imagine a better guide to [writing's] rewards and perils than this fine book." Joni is a writing instructor and frequent speaker at universities and writing conferences around the country. She lives in Hartford, Vermont, and is currently at work on a collection of personal essays.
